Research and Leadership Interest:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing science and a Master of Public Health (Research Ethics) from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, with professional certification in Pediatric Oncology Nursing and Chemotherapy Administration from APHON and the Global HOPE program.
Professional Experience:
Currently, I serve as the Nurse Manager of the Paediatric Cancer Unit at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital, Uganda, providing leadership in clinical care and nursing practice. I am a Trainer in the Trainers Program for paediatric oncology nursing, supporting capacity building for nurses and medical trainees.
Completed an Observership Fellowship in cancer and blood disorders at Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Hospital. I am actively involved in pediatric cancer research, proposal writing, and international collaborations to improve care in low-resource settings.
