The International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care (ISNCC) was established in 1984 with a vision to lead the global nursing community in cancer control and a mission to maximize the influence of nursing in reducing the global cancer burden. To achieve our vision and mission, we developed the strategic plan 2022–2025 with the following four aims.
1.    Build and strengthen the global cancer nursing workforce
2.    Influence global health policy
3.    Advance and apply knowledge in cancer care and control
4.    Leverage partnerships with members and global citizens
The ISNCC is an international membership organization of oncology nurse leaders dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people at risk for or living with cancer, promoting nurses’ roles in improving cancer care and developing nursing leadership in cancer care delivery. The ISNCC consists of national cancer nursing societies; regional cancer nursing societies; oncology institutions and individual cancer nurse clinicians, researchers, educators and managers. The society partners with various international organizations involved in cancer control and is affiliated with the Union for International Cancer Control and the International Council of Nurses.
