Gifty Ampadu is a compassionate Oncology Nurse Specialist at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, Ghana, with over 19 years of nursing experience, including more than two years in oncology practice. She provides comprehensive cancer care, including patient assessment, chemotherapy administration, palliative care, counselling, and patient education. She currently serves as Head Nurse of the Oncology Unit, playing a key role in nurse-led oncology services, multidisciplinary tumor board coordination, and cancer screening and awareness programmes. She actively participates in global oncology training initiatives and is committed to advancing quality cancer care and patient outcomes.
