Academic and Professional Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in nursing- Oncology from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing (Oncology and Palliative care) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. 

Professional Experience:

I have 6 years of experience in oncology.  I currently serve as a senior lecturer at Aga Khan University, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Kenya. Through partnerships with the National Cancer Institute of Kenya (NCI-K), I have inspected oncology facilities across the country and provided technical support to newly established cancer centers. I have also worked with NCK, NCI-K, and the National Cancer Control Program (NCCP) on developing and reviewing key policies. I am also a member of the ISNCC communication committee. I am also actively engaged in abstract writing, research dissemination, and grant writing within the oncology field, and I am a recipient of the 2025 ISNCC travel grant for abstract presentation in the ISNCC & CNSA congress.
