Distinguished Professor Patsy Yates is Executive Dean, Faculty of Health at Queensland University of Technology.  She is also a Co-Director for QUT’s Centre for Healthcare Transformation. Patsy has extensive experience in research, education and practice in a variety of cancer and palliative care contexts. She has researched and published extensively on health service and workforce reform and innovations in supportive care in cancer and palliative care and is currently an NHRMC Investigator Fellow studying palliative care services in aged care settings. Patsy is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences, the Queensland Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the Australian College of Nursing. Patsy is the immediate past-President of the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care and a past-President of Palliative Care Australia.
