Martha is the Technical Cooperation Manager for City Cancer Challenge Foundation (C/Can) based in Switzerland, where she oversees the planning and execution of projects to increase access and quality to cancer care around the world, with a special focus on Latin America region. Martha’s educational background in critical care nursing, health management and global health economics is complemented by her work experience as a nurse’s administrator and leader across different regions of the world, where she led the development and operations of Cancer Institutes. Through her current role, Martha focuses on the strengthening of Health Systems from the cancer care perspective, advocating for the pivotal role of nurses, and with a strong and passionate focus on promoting leadership and education.
