Dr Klutsey is a lecturer in nursing in the University of Health and Allied Science. She developed a novel safe conception training programme for healthcare workers and successfully piloted it among some nurses and midwifes in the Volta and Oti Regions of Ghana.
Currently, she is working towards scaling up the safe conception training programme among nurses and midwives. She headed the Midwifery Department and presently coordinates the sandwich programme. She won the Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarship: Advance Scholars-West Africa. I believe I have the training, expertise, leadership and motivation to successfully carry out the proposed research project in collaboration with others.
